Dr. Joseph A. McDaniel

Dr. McDaniel has over 30 years of experience in treating a wide variety of disorders to include issues related to combat such as PTSD, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and other issues related to military or police encounters. In addition, Dr. McDaniel has multiple years of experience working with the criminal justice system and various police agencies. Dr. McDaniel is adequately equipped in addressing various issues related to offender violations not limited to anger management, substance dependency, and sexual offense violation history. Experienced at providing detailed psychological assessment for parole departments and defense attorneys. In addition, Dr. McDaniel addresses marital issues, depression, bipolar disorder, and various psychotic illnesses.

Global Counseling and Testing has been servicing the Houston metropolitan area since 2005 with its primary focus on forensics. Our team consists of licensed mental health professionals with multiple years of experience working with the legal system and private sector treating individuals with a wide range of psychopathology in both English and Spanish. Our staff also work with professional sports teams and other professional athletes who exhibit a need for individual or group psychotherapy.
In addition, our clinical staff conduct a wide range of psychological, psychosexual and neuropsychological testing for both children and adults.
